Anne specialises in Criminal Law , predominantly for the Defence . She deals with a wide variety of criminal work ranging from murder , rape , sexual assaults , violence , kidnap , drugs offences , fraud , to burglary and theft . She has considerable experience in dealing with complex cases , difficult clients and cases of a sensitive nature , such as those involving child or vulnerable witnesses and clients with mental health disorders .

Recent cases include manslaughter where the defendant and another systematically tortured their victim over a period of months leading to her eventual death ; a defendant indicted for four counts of attempted murder involving the stabbing of multiple victims ; historical allegations involving child sexual abuse against a number of victims over a thirty year period ; arson with intent to endanger life where a defendant with a serious mental disorder set fire to a school ; and conspiracy to burgle/ steal where the defendant and several others were said to be involved in over 200 offences of burglary and theft of motor vehicles .
