Profile:

Andrew, specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence work. Related to this specialisation he also undertakes regulatory and disciplinary work.

Andrew regularly defends Health and Safety prosecutions, usually those involving catastrophic or fatal injury. He attends coroner’s hearings not only in respect of accidents at work but also fatalities in RTA’s and children in school care. Andrew also undertakes work involving Professional Disciplinary tribunals.

Andrew regularly lectures in his specialist fields of practice and has most recently been an invited speaker at the 23rd Annual AVMA Clinical negligence conference in 2011 to lecture on Medical Manslaughter, as well as the Insurance Fraud Investigators Group (IFIG) to speak on ‘Judicial Attitudes to Fraud’

Andrew is the Head of Sovereign chambers R&D team.
