Christopher Ferguson specialises in Family Law. He has extensive experience in Private and Public Law (representing parents, extended family, Local Authorities and children via Guardians including the Official Solicitor and The National Youth Advocacy Service). Since moving to Leeds in 2008 he has organised seminars on subjects such as NYAS, the judicial interviewing of children and the role of Grandparents and Kinship Care in proceeings relating to children.
He also has substantial experience of Ancillary Relief extending across a broad range of clients, from the socially disadvantaged through to property speculators. Christopher has developed a reputation for his good “bedside manner”, which has been repeatedly noted by solicitors with vulnerable or sensitive clients.
He has, however, also maintained a reputation as a tenacious opponent.
