David’s initial practice was a general common law one, and he undertook a number of employment cases, mainly in the Sheffield and Leeds ITs, as they were initially and then ET.

His practice became more crime focused where David gained recognition for his preparation and presentation of complex matters. His ability to get on with clients from all backgrounds, whether corporate/professional or those with their own particular difficulties has often been commented upon.

Over recent years David has been advising various corporate bodies about their quasi criminal rights and this had led to a gradual shift back to civil matters, in particular employment law.

David brings a wealth of trial experience, common sense and a down to earth approach to matters of whatever level.
He accepts unfair dismissal and all aspects of discrimination work.
