Joanna is a specialist family and quasi-family practitioner acting for private and publicly funded clients in all levels of tribunal, particularly the County Court and High Court.
She is experienced in advising and representing unmarried partners or cohabitants in property disputes, primarily where an application is proposed or made under section 14 of the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act.
She will represent professional clients such as trustees-in-bankruptcy, discretionary or other trustees, executors or other professional or lay third parties where a need arises to defend or intervene in matrimonial proceedings.
She welcomes instructions in applications or proposed applications under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act whether for claimants, beneficiaries or executors.
She will advise and act in cases involving allegations of professional negligence in the field of matrimonial or family law and/or property trusts.
