Laura regularly acts for Defendant insurer's in cases where fraud is alleged or suspected either by way of low velocity impact issues, exaggeration or bogus accidents, all of which often include credit hire issues. Her involvement in such cases ranges from conducting straight forward preliminary applications and Case Management Conferences to advising and drafting documents.
The civil fraud team at Sovereign Chambers has been at the forefront of the development in civil fraud cases and as a result Laura understands and appreciates the intricacies and complexities of this area of law as well as the business considerations for her insurer clients. She is fully aware of changes in this area of practice and has been involved in the progression of new initiatives that are being developed within Chambers to aid insurer clients in combating fraudulent claims.
Laura is happy to assist with any aspect of fraud cases and will provide pre-action advice and conferences in Chambers as requested.
