Simon acts on behalf of Defendant Insurer's in cases where fraud is alleged and in suspicious cases where a robust defence is required. His involvement in such cases reaches from pre-issue advice, drafting pleadings, interim applications and appearance at trial.
Simon has an extensive practice in prosecuting criminal frauds and keeps abreast of the innovative ways in which insurer clients can investigate civil fraud cases. He has a range of experience in assessing and advising on the strength of individual cases encompassing low velocity impact issues, engineering evidence, credit hire and exaggeration and is happy to provide pre-action advice and conferences in Chambers.
