Matthew was part of the initial Fraud Team at Sovereign Chambers and now has over 10 years experience in this field.
He mainly deals with fraud rings and credit hire.  In addition, Matthew deals with home insurance and travel insurance fraud, including matters under the Marine Insurance Act 1906.

Matthew appears in Court of Appeal, High Court and County Courts across the UK representing all the major insurers.
Matthew has a very busy paper work practice and a reputation for turning papers around quickly and effectively.

Notable cases:

Codd v Leach: a case in the Court of Appeal involving a claim for over £80k credit hire reduced to less than £10k with no order as to costs.
Case X: a multi-handed fraud ring in London resulting in 7 issued Claims being discontinued in full.
Hussain et al v Groupama: a staged accident resulting in all claims being dismissed, findings of fraud and a referral to the DPP.
