Profile:

Before being called to the Bar, Johanna worked at the Institute for Public Policy Research and at White Ryland Solicitors where she practised family law as well as immigration and asylum law. After a mixed pupillage of crime and family work, Johanna began her practice in those fields and also in immigration and asylum work.

Johanna now specialises in family law, predominantly in cases concerning children and in both private and public child law. Johanna applies her experience of criminal trials to good effect in Finding of Fact hearings.  Drawing on her nine years’ experience of asylum and immigration work, Johanna has particular expertise of cases involving an immigration element and with clients from minority communities.
