Adam has acted for both the Home Office and for individual appellants in immigration and asylum matters. Adam is experienced in handling appeals before the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal in all areas of that body's jurisdiction and for onward appeals. Adam is also experienced in representing employers on appeal in County Court proceedings, where fines have been imposed by the Secretary of State for employing workers who do not have the appropriate immigration status. Adam has taught the Immigration Law Elective on the Legal Practice Course at the BPP Law School in Leeds. In 2008, Adam was nominated for the Bar Pro Bono Award by the Manuel Bravo Project in Leeds.
