During her final year at university Toni worked in the Student Law Office, which provides pro bono legal advice and representation to members of the public. Toni worked in the Employment department and successfully represented clients in the Employment Tribunal. Whilst in Toronto Toni was involved in the litigation of two major Canadian Class Actions resulting from contractual disputes. Toni’s first six months of pupillage covered a mixed variety of practices and included exposure to a number of areas of civil law, including mainly personal injury and employment cases. In her second six months of pupilage and since obtaining tenancy Toni has built up a substantial practice in these areas and has expanded her practice to other areas of civil law.
Toni appears at all stages of Small Claims and Fast Track matters, on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants. Her areas of practice include road traffic accidents, personal injury claims, employment disputes, contractual disputes, and Landlord and Tenant disputes. Toni also has a busy paper practice providing pleadings and written advice on liability and quantum.
