After being Called to the Bar in 2002, Janine spent five years in-house in local government, during which time she was Admitted and practised as a solicitor. Whilst in-house she gained some experience in property related disputes and has, since moving to the Independent Bar in 2007, continued to build upon it. Her experience includes:

Commercial: Representing breweries, publicans, local authorities, property management companies, and individuals in cases concerning breach of covenant; user clauses; purchase ties; disrepair; refusals to renew tenancies.

Residential: Boundary Disputes; Rent Reviews; Nuisance actions under the Environmental Protection Act 1990; Possession Actions in respect of private and social housing, acting for tenants as well as private landlords, local authorities and housing trusts, which also includes accelerated proceedings, mortgage possessions and anti-social behaviour order applications and breaches.
