Elizabeth practised first at 32 Park Square and then 30 Park Square in the areas of Family and Criminal law, and represented a number of local authorities in PII applications, all of which provided experience of the interface between Family and Criminal proceedings.
During her career break to have a family (2000 - 2010) she continued to update the publication Divorce: The Things You Thought You'd Never Need To Know for a number of years, thus keeping herself up to date in many areas of Family Law.
She now specialises in Family Law proceedings which concern children. Elizabeth has conducted Public Law cases on behalf of local authorities and respondent parents in Family Proceedings Courts and the higher courts. She also undertakes Private Law cases including cases involving Contact and Residence disputes, Injunctions and Committals.
