Chambers is delighted to announce that Simon Clegg’s application, in the recent CPS re-grading process, has been successful. The reviewing panel accepted that Simon showed the level of forensic skill necessary to advance.

Doubtless Simon’s recent cases, including Majeed in the Court of Appeal, will have been a factor taken into account.

Simon remains on the Attorney General’s Panel of prosecutors, where he continues to undertake specialist departmental work.

Simon’s success is a further sign of the quality of advocates within Sovereign.
