Sovereign secure conviction and 38 years sentences in drugs importation case

Diana Maudslay successfully prosecuted Marcel Riteman and Mathieu Poulissen at Grimsby Crown Court.  Rietman was the driver of a lorry driven into the UK at Killingholme Docks with just under 70 kilos of heroin concealed in the vehicle and a further 10 kilos taped to the passenger, Poulissen.   Rietman, who pleaded guilty in February, was sentenced to 18 years while Poulissen was found guilty after trial and was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment.
