Jonathan Smith faced allegations that he was party to conspiracies to supply methylmethcathinone and methylenedioxpyrovalerone via the postal system. Even though quantities of both drugs were recovered by the police, David Dixon successfully argued that there was not enough evidence upon which the Defendant should face trial and the Court dismissed all charges against Smith. As a result of Smith’s dismissal argument the Crown had to reconsider the evidence against two others Defendants who also had their cases withdrawn.
