Chris Dunn successfully defended, Andrew Lusher, charged with five others with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice by concealing the death of Adam Vincent.
The case lasted nine weeks at Sheffield Crown Court as the five co-defendants were also charged with the murder and dismemberment of Adam Vincent.
Mr Vincent was a drug user who was beaten and killed by the co-accused before he was dismembered and his body parts concealed in the inland waterways of North Lincolnshire.
Andrew Lusher was alleged to have hired a van knowing that it was to be used to dispose of the body. Out of the six men charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, he was the only defendant to be acquitted by the jury of that charge.
The Prosecution and all other Defendants were represented by Queen's Counsel leading Junior Counsel, but because Andrew Lusher was not charged with murder, Chris Dunn considered that it was a single counsel case.
The co-defendants were imprisoned for 32 years, 26 years, 27 years and 29 years respectively.
